  15. 15. Our there any driving rules we should be aware of in Florida?

Speed limits in Florida are strictly enforced. The upper limit is generally 55 mph, however this has been increased to 65 mph on certain sections of interstate. Seat belts are compulsory in both the front and rear seats.

You can turn right at the red light as long the road is clear and as long as there isn't a sign that says you can't, you have come to a complete stop before turning. No lanes are designated as either "slow" or "fast". Overtaking from either lane is allowed as long as you check and the lanes are clear.
A "4 way stop" is a junction where no particular direction has priority. All drivers should come to a stop and the driver who got there first has the right of way. At a junction a flashing yellow light means proceed with caution. If they flash red it means stop and treat it like a "4 way stop". Many roads without a central reservation have a lane in the middle that allows a driver to enter if they intend to turn left across the other carriageway. Check that the lane is clear and enter the lane using your indicator.
